In its sixth spectacular year, the distinguished BRAVO Cruise Of Performing Arts returns in 2019 presented by Choose Your Cruise with its most stellar lineup of International and Australian talent yet. Set sail for Noumea and the Isle of Pines for seven nights aboard the luxurious 13-deck Radiance Of The Seas cruise ship, and be spoilt for choice with top-flight entertainment.
2019’s star-studded lineup is headlined by Grammy Award- winning Welsh bass baritone Sir Bryn Terfel CBE, conducted by Gareth Jones.
The all-star line-up continues with The Metropolitan Orchestra conducted by Guy Noble, backing a veritable Who’s Who of Australian Performing Arts. From Helpmann Award-winning musical theatre performer Lucy Durack, renowned ARIA and AFI-winning opera singer David Hobson, eminent jazz musician James Morrison AM, and acclaimed tenor Mark Vincent paying tribute to the iconic 1940s and 50s tenor and Hollywood film star Mario Lanza, every musical genre is covered, and every musical taste catered to.
The A-list continues with mezzo soprano Tania Ferris, singer and conductor Jonathon Welch AM (‘Choir of Hard Knocks’), ARIA-winning a cappella group The Idea of North, and Melinda Schneider’s Doris Day show.
Guests will also have the chance to appreciate performances by jazz singer Cathrine Summers, cabaret trio The Kermond Variety Show, opera’s Gaetano Bonfante, musical theatre star Danielle Matthews, the stage show Unforgettable: The Nat King Cole Trio Story, and Jazz at the Movies. BRAVO 2019 will host over 30 esteemed artists from the Performing Arts.
Bryn expressed his excitement on his return Down Under and his debut on the ‘high seas’,

Welsh bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel has established an extraordinary career, performing regularly on the prestigious concert stages and opera houses of the World, including the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden; the Metropolitan Opera, New York; Opéra National de Paris; Teatro Alla Scala and Zürich Opera. Roles for which he is most noted include Falstaff, Dulcamara, Wotan and Holländer. Recent additions to his repertoire include Reb Tevye, Boris Godunov and Sweeney Todd. CEO, Marius Els says – “We have been trying to secure Byrn Terfel for a number of years now as he is one of the world’s biggest Opera Stars. It’s been a major coup for us and BRAVO fans will have their chance to be up close and personal to one of the biggest voices of our time. It’s going to be a wonderful cruise.”
When passengers have temporarily had their fill of the musical smorgasbord, they can satisfy their appetites in any of the eight dining experiences on offer, from fine dining to family fare, Italian, Japanese and Brazilian cuisines, and complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main dining room. From cupcakes to California rolls, finger foods to a five-course gourmet meal, BRAVO cruise will take you on a journey of culinary excellence.
Radiance Of The Seas will also dock at the serene of Isle of Pines, the beautiful New Caledonian island known internationally as ‘the Jewel of the Pacific’. Enjoy a freshly-cooked lobster meal served on the white sandy beaches, swim or snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Oro’s natural pool, or explore the natural wonder of Queen Hortense’s Cave, set in a lush rainforest.
Back on board, you’ll continue to sail in style on-board a luxury ship that offers a glass-enclosed, nine-story atrium, lifts facing the sea, floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, bars, clubs and lounges, a Vegas-style casino, and designer brand duty-free shopping.
Take time to chill out beside the swimming pools, soak in one of three whirlpools, catch a movie, be pampered in the Vitality Day Spa, or enjoy yoga or Thai Chi classes. For the more activity-minded, there’s a mini-golf course,
basketball court, jogging track and rock-climbing wall.
Throughout the cruise, get your land legs back exploring Nouméa, the capital of the South Pacific archipelago and overseas French territory of New Caledonia. Relax on the beautiful sun-drenched beaches, explore the region’s Kanak heritage at the Jean-Marie Tjibaou Cultural Centre, or marvel at the local marine life at the Aquarium des Lagons.
