Early Bird Tickets are on sale NOW from Ticketek or Hope Estate from 9.00am, 16th October 2014 - CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS

The CAMPFIRE FESTIVAL, with music at its heart and soul, is a three-day smorgasbord of entertainment offering a diverse range of activities, plus a wider variety of food options and experiences including craft beer demonstrations from the new onsite microbrewery, indigenous dance and morning yoga to name but a few.

CAMPFIRE FESTIVAL's ethos is to bring people together to spend quality time with family and friends, while having the opportunity to do as much (or as little) as you please, including a new luxury camping option with HOPE ESTATE's beautiful vineyard setting as the backdrop.

The CAMPFIRE Festival will host a number of entertainment precincts including the main amphitheatre which will feature two stages - the main stage playing host to a line-up of established Australian stars and a 2nd stage showcasing emerging and well-known artists.

HOPE ESTATE has become one of Australia's most sough-after concert destinations in recent years and the venue regularly hosts up to 20,000 fans in its amphitheatre, with the likes of Bruce Springsteen playing two nights in February this year and The Rolling Stones, Sting and Paul Simon and The Eagles booked in for the coming season.

"All the major promoters now view Hope Estate as a world-class venue capable of hosting and delivering world-class shows. It's a testament not just to our own people, but the whole Hunter event community that pitches in to show visitors a great time and unforgettable experience, " HOPE ESTATES's Michael Hope.

CAMPFIRE FESTIVAL will also be giving ten musical artists the opportunity to perform on the amphitheatre's second stage and in the Campfire Zone to be chosen via an online vote giving up-and-coming performers a chance to shine in front of a big audience. Further details, terms and conditions of this exciting initiative will be listed on

Early Bird tickets to the inaugural CAMPFIRE FESTIVAL will be available from 9am, Thursday 16th October through Ticketek or the Winery direct on 1800 777 444. Early Bird tickets provide a discount 3-day ticket for all purchases made on or prior to 1st December 2014.

The CAMPFIRE FESTIVAL is more than just a name - there will be an actual Campfire! In addition to the main arena/amphitheatre, the lakeside Campfire Zone will be filled with artisan markets, exhibitions and demonstrations by day, then each night activities will continue around the campfire with musical performances and indigenous dancing. Indigenous culture will be a special feature of the Campfire Zone with art, dance, music and bush tucker cooking demonstrations.

There's also the FunZone which is sure to keep both the young and young-at-heart entertained as well as the Busker's Pavilion providing yet another entertainment option along with the opportunity to discover fresh, local talent.

HOPE ESTATE's Camper's Bar will host songwriter's sessions, guitar clinics, Artist Q&A forums and jam sessions each day along with late night entertainment for our campers. The Camper's Bar will run each night for three hours after the main stage finishes (don't worry it's far enough away from the campsites so won't disturb the sleepyheads getting a head start for the next day).

Naturally, with a winery and craft brewery on-site there'll be plenty to drink and even a craft beer experience available for the connoisseurs.

On site camping is available for up to 5,000 people with standard camping and powered sites available, or why not "glamp it up" in the new 5 star Lakeside Flashcamp. There will be plenty of showers and toilets available throughout each of the camping zones as well as portable toilets throughout the site and the main buildings.

For those who want the ultimate experience, HOPE ESTATE is providing VIP hospitality packages. Choose the indulgent Harvest Package on the top floor of the building or the more casual VIP area - both overlook the main arena so you will see and hear everything from these private areas. Or, perhaps a gourmet hamper for two is more your style so you can just sit, listen and soak up the atmosphere. For full details of each of the packages available, please go to

Stars Unite for National Slim Dusty Day
Some of the biggest names in Australiahave got behind an industry led campaign to have an Aussie icon’s legacy celebrated on JUNE 13th by officially recognising the day as NATIONAL SLIM DUSTY DAY.

Music historian Glenn A Baker said “Slim Dusty Day is a day to celebrate our musical heritage. Slim Dusty articulated the very essence ofAustraliafor a great many Australians”.  With 2013 marking the 10th anniversary of SLIM DUSTY’s passing (19th September 2003), identities from across Australia and around the world has united to pay tribute and support the proposed NATIONAL SLIM DUSTY DAY initiative to be declared on his birth date of June 13th. Stars already backing and supporting the proposal include KEITH URBAN & NICOLE KIDMAN, LEE KERNAGHAN OAM, KASEY CHAMBERS & SHANE NICHOLSON, RAY HADLEY OAM, DICK SMITH, BECCY COLE, ADAM HARVEY and Slim’s wife JOY McKEAN OAM to name but a few. DICK SMITH, Australian Entrepreneur and Philanthropist said “I urge everyone who shares my admiration of Slim, to get behind National Slim Dusty Day, to honour the man who etched our history into song. We must ensure that the legend of Slim Dusty and his Australian story – our story – is never forgotten”. "Slim Dusty is not only the voice of Australian Country music, but the voice of the spirit of Australia. I was honored to not only know him, but to call him a mate. We toured together, we recorded together, and I was forever changed by his passion for the music, the people, and the country he loved so much.

Smart as a whip, funny as hell, as loyal as the day is long, and the perfect personification of what an Aussie is all about! Nic and I are both proud to add our voices in support of recognising June 13 Nationally, as 'Slim Dusty Day'!!!!!!"  - Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman Australian Country Music legend LEE KERNAGHAN said, “In the steps of Banjo Paterson and Henry Lawson, Slim Dusty embedded our culture and heritage into history. For over half a century Slim touched our hearts and minds through the music he made and the life he lived. National Slim Dusty Day is a way for all Australians to come together to celebrate our musical heritage, the people’s King of Country and the everyday Australian's who make our country great”. Now a decade since the loss of the national treasure, Australian identities have come together to voice their support of the NATIONAL SLIM DUSTY DAY to ensure his musical legacy continues to be recognised annually.

Australians are asked to register their support seeking the favourable consideration of the Australian Government to mark Slim's birthday as "National Slim Dusty Day". To show your support, please click on the following link:
