"We are really looking forward to heading back and performing to all our Aussie fans. It has been a while since we were here last," says David Bellamy. "We've toured in over 50 countries throughout our career and Australia is one of our favourite’s."
Howard Bellamy adds, "This is shaping up to be one of our biggest international years to date. Good thing we're used to the jet lag. We actually have a new song we're recording now called 'Jet Lag Journey!'"
The multi-platinum selling Bellamy Brothers have charted 15 #1 hits on the US country and pop music charts. Hits like "Let Your Love Flow,""If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me)," "Redneck Girl," and "Old Hippie" helped to make the brothers household names.
The Bellamys plan to release new music in conjunction with several of the international tour stops such as collaborations with Brazilian rock star Eduardo Araújo and Swiss rock sensation Gölä. The brothers' first album with Gölä (BB&G: The Greatest Hits Sessions - released in 2010) debuted at #1 on the Swiss Music Chart and soon thereafter reached double-platinum sales.
In addition, the Bellamys are planning fora three-song EP and music video currently scheduled fora late May / early June release. The EP and video will serve as a teaser for the brothers' 40th anniversary album which is set for release in 2015. The two-disc set will feature 15 new songs and 15 #1 hits.
They are the most successful duo in country music history their seamless harmonies remain perfectly intact as they continue to travel the United States and European tour circuits, performing over 150 dates each year.
“We’re old road dogs,” grins Howard when asked about the motivation behind the brothers 200 plus concert dates each year. Adds David: “Our live draw is bigger than it was in the ‘80’s. I think the same people that grew up with us and with our music in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s obviously have raised a whole new generation of Bellamy fans who started toddling to our music. Now they’re turning up at our concerts as college kids, who are really tuned in to us and our music….it’s a great feeling.
In addition the Bellamy’s are headlining the 7 day luxury cruise on board Rhapsody of the Seas to Noumea departing Sydney on 5 October. Cruisin Country 4 will also include Australia’s top country music artists including Kasey Chambers, John Williamson, Graeme Connors to name a few.

Air Supply - Hits & Memories Tour
International multi-Platinum soft-rock icons, Air Supply, return to Australia and performing at the State Theatre, Sydney on Friday 29 November, as part of their Hits & Memories Tour.
The prolific partnership of composer Graham Russell and vocalist Russell Hitchcock was conceived almost four decades ago when they met in Sydney on the first day of rehearsals for Jesus Christ Superstar. Instant friends through a shared love of The Beatles and music, they began performing original songs with one guitar and two voices in cafes and nightclubs, following their evening theatre commitments.
Air Supply has since produced eight global hits, seven of which equalled The Beatles run of consecutive top five singles, amassed sales of over 40 million albums and is a constant on radio programming.
Graham is honoured with two BMA Million-Air Certificates which recognise over three million radio plays for Lost in Love (1980’s Song of The Year and fastest selling single worldwide) and All Out of Love, while The One That You Love, Sweet Dreams and Making Love Out of Nothing At All, are well on the way to reaching that achievement. Other singles to dominate the charts are Every Woman In The World, Love and Other Bruises, All That You Want, Two Less Lonely People in The World, Even The Nights Are Better, Without You, The Power of Love (You Are My Lady) and Here I Am (Just When You Thought I Was Over You).
Air Supply first found international audiences opening for Rod Stewart and now hold enthusiastic fans captive in huge venues on their own lavish tours, which have smashed attendance records.
Career highlights include pioneering new markets as the first Western act to tour to China, Taiwan and other countries not previously open to our pop culture, performing in Havana to an audience of 175,000 the night before Hurricane Dennis lashed Cuba, participating in Australia’s Bi-Centennial celebrations in the presence of HRH Prince Charles and HRH Princess Diana and an induction into the New York Ride of Fame campaign - where the Gray Line bestows a bus in honour of exemplary community figures.
Air Supply is one of Australia’s most successful acts, performing 150 shows around the world annually and are delighted to be heading ‘home’ at the end of the year, after commitments in the Cayman Islands, Mexico, Hong Kong, USA, Puerto Rico, Philippines, Burma, Japan, Chile, Canada and more.
You’ll be Lost in Love with the rich, beautiful melodies and soaring harmonies from the legends of soft rock and power ballads, Air Supply, at the State Theatre Sydney on Friday 29 November.
